Intensive Supportfor lasting healing

Our programs are designed for individuals who need more support than traditional weekly outpatient therapy provides. We help participants build practical life skills and emotional regulation skills, and cultivate healthy, sustainable relationships in a structured community environment.

Through a blend of psychiatric assessment, daily group therapy sessions, individual psychotherapy, and expressive arts therapy, we coordinate care across levels to ensure you feel empowered to step forward in your wellness journey.

Our Treatment Philosophy

We built our programs around four principles, each grounded in clinical evidence.

Intensity that matches need

Some challenges cannot be resolved in one hour a week. Our day programs provide the concentrated, structured treatment that moderate-to-severe symptoms require — and step you down as you stabilise.

Proven therapies, practised daily

Every group is grounded in trauma-informed care and the evidence base — CBT, DBT and ACT — so skills learned each morning are safe to practise in real life the same day.

Progress you can see

We track symptoms weekly with validated measures and adjust your treatment plan based on data, not guesswork.

Families heal together

Caregivers are part of treatment, not spectators — because especially for teens, recovery lasts when the whole system learns the skills.

Is this program right for you?

A day program may be the right level of care if any of these sound familiar.

  • Weekly therapy is not enough
  • A recent hospitalisation or ER visit
  • Missing school or work
  • Safety concerns
  • Emotions feel unmanageable
  • Your therapist recommended more support

Not sure? Call 800-913-2615 and we will help you work out the right level of care.

Partial Hospitalization (PHP)

5 Days / Week • Adults up to 6 hrs/day • Adolescents approx. 5 hrs/day

Adolescent tracks run in the afternoon so teens stay in school.

A highly concentrated level of care designed to stabilize symptoms, prevent hospitalization, and build core cognitive-behavioral skills. Ideal as a step-down from inpatient or step-up from standard therapy.

Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

3-5 Days / Week • 3 Hours / Day (Mon-Fri)

Adolescent IOP is intentionally after-school so teens do not miss class.

A flexible treatment level allowing you to practice coping mechanisms in everyday life while maintaining structural psychiatric support. Focuses on interpersonal group therapy and individual planning.

Your care team

Every client works with a multidisciplinary team, not a single clinician.

  • Board-certified psychiatrist
  • Individual therapist
  • Group facilitators
  • Behaviour specialists
  • Case manager
  • Dietitian support when needed

Families are part of treatment

Treatment includes weekly family therapy and a multi-family group. Caregivers learn the same skills at the same time as their teen, so the whole system is practising together rather than one person carrying the change alone.

School stays a priority

Adolescent IOP is deliberately scheduled after school. For teens in PHP, we coordinate directly with the school during treatment so academic progress and re-entry are planned rather than improvised.

One continuum, no gaps

Every level of care sits within LGTC, so stepping down never means being discharged into a void.

Common questions

How long does treatment last?

Most clients complete a day program in 6–12 weeks. Plans are individualised — your team reviews progress weekly and adjusts the length to what you actually need.

Will my insurance cover it?

We are in-network with many major plans and our team verifies your benefits before you start, so you know what to expect. Call us and we will check your specific coverage.

Can I keep working or studying?

Many clients do. IOP is designed for it, and adolescent IOP runs after school. PHP is a bigger daily commitment — we will be straightforward with you about what is realistic.

What if I am struggling during program hours?

Your team is on site throughout the program day and you can ask for support at any point. Outside program hours, if you are in crisis, call or text 988.

We can help you assess if one of these programs is a good option for you.
